Thanks for the report, Johannes. This issue seems to be confined to
the "gig" addon. The file gig.tex calls for inclusion of the mathrsfs
package. which should, I think, correspond to texlive-rsfs in Fedora.
However, so far as I can see gig.tex doesn't actually contain any
\mathscr commands (which would call for actual use of the rsfs fonts).
In my working copy I commented out

  \usepackage{dcolumn,amsmath,mathrsfs}

in addons/gig/doc/gig.tex and substituted

  \usepackage{dcolumn,amsmath}

and I got no errors. Jack Lucchetti (the author of gig) can maybe tell
us if there's any need to require mathrsfs.
