I believe this should now be fixed (with the help of Inno

There are new builds of the data installers at

Hi Allin,
Iīve uninstalled completely all Gretlīs versions and execute
gretl_install.exe (2015/07/21, 14:03, 20Mb) on my Windows 8.1
environment.
It installs Gretl displaying the directory ...Program Files
(x86)\gretl
Then I execute all the data installers (2015/07/21) and they put de
data in the displayed directory ...Program Files (x86)\gretl\data
Then I can see all the tabs in the 'sample files' option
(Gretl-Dougherty-ETM-...-Verbeek-Wooldridge).
Then Iīve uninstalled completely it again and all the data
installers, and run gretl_install-64.exe (2015/07/21, 14:04, 22Mb).
It installs Gretl displaying ...Program Files\gretl directory, and
all the data installers in ...Program Files\gretl\data directory.
So I think all works fine.
Cheers.
