A tabbed script editor is now available for testing, in CVS
and snapshots. You have to activate this option by checking
"Script editor uses tabs" under /Tools/Preferences/General.

Wow! I liked so much this new feature!

Me too. I like tabs.

But I found some minor issues:

(1) You can't create more than 16 tabs;

You probably shouldn't!

(2) If you try to create more than 16 tabs Gretl doesn't allow us to close
one of them properly (take a look at the "imagem 1" attached);

Consider it a punishment for having too many tabs open.

:P

(3) In that situation, if you minimize the window and restore it again the
icons disappear ("imagem 2" attached).

Seriously: I agree this shouldn't happen and ought to be fixed, but again, who would want to have more than 16 tabs open at the same time?

I agree, but I think it would be good to introduce a warning message in this situation.

Finally, one more issue that is not related with the tabs... On the "About
Gretl Window" the build date has a small error ("imagem 3" attached).

hmmm... I may be missing something, but... what's the problem exactly?

Sorry for this! It was a mistake of the stupid translator... Me! I gonna fix it on CVS.

Best regards,
