Some users are not comfortable with using mail-lists. Maybe it's better to make an agreement to use some existing statistics/econometrics forum for posting questions and answers about gretl there? For example, one may use http://stats.stackexchange.com/ - it even has a tag "gretl", but only one message under it :).

I am not promoting any particular forum, my point is that using some existing popular forum will increase gretl's popularity as a side effect.
