right, but I think we all know that R's popularity is much bigger. To be honest, I'm surprised that the ratio is only 10:1.

What has already changed in recent snapshots (so will be in gretl 2026c) is a new top-level menu called "Packages" for better visibility of the contributed function packages. That could help a little with your download numbers.

Due to Allin I know that my packages

was downloaded more than 12000 times,

but my R package nlwaldTest was downloaded

about 120000 times. In my personal point of vieiw

the gretl package is better, but...
