Dear all,
I was thinking that having hansl on jupyter notebook would be a very useful thing.
Has anything been implemented yet?
From what I've seen, creating a kernel for hansl with IPython shouldn't be "too complicated" (or so it seemed to me).
What are your thoughts on this?

Hi Federico, in fact I had the same thought roughly three years ago. I guess you're talking about the instructions at https://jupyter-client.readthedocs.io/en/latest/wrapperkernels.html.

I got stuck fairly quickly, though. I also found a short note I took back then where I wrote down "pexpect and/or its REPLWrapper don't really work on Windows!" Maybe that's what led me to stop bothering, but I don't remember the details. I don't know whether the situation has changed since then. I find it a bit worrying that the page above still says it's from 2015.

But I still like the idea very much, and I would be glad to contribute if I can.

cheers
