I am now working with periodograms of seasonal series and I am seeing this problem:  When I ask for the periodogram of an original series (not residual of any estimation) the title of the plot and the text output is "residual spectrum" which does not seem very apropriate.

And by the way, when you ask for the vertical grid lines (in the graphic controller) I think it would be very good that the lines, and the tick labels, correspond to the seasonal frequencies (at least for quarterly and monthly data).
