no, the point is that shift+home should select from the cursor to the beginning of the line, instead it moves you to the beginning of the line not selecting anything

This is to do with the point that if you press home in the gretl
console, you should NOT go to the beginning of the line (which is
a prompt, and cannot be typed over) but to the beginning of the
command entry area.

I'm unfamiliar with shift+{home,end}; I'll look into this.  Not
being a Windows user, I tend to use the X selection to do anything
of this sort.
