</div></div>This is to do with the point that if you press home in the gretl<br>
console, you should NOT go to the beginning of the line (which is<br>
a prompt, and cannot be typed over) but to the beginning of the<br>
command entry area.<br>

I&#39;m unfamiliar with shift+{home,end}; I&#39;ll look into this.  Not<br>
being a Windows user, I tend to use the X selection to do anything<br>
of this sort.<br>
