I still could not start gretl.
The error message was "Failed to open file 'd:\Program Files\gretlui\gretlmain.xml': No such file or directory." I think "\" is missing between gretl and ui.

The workaround suggested by Hélio Guilherme may work, but not completely.
File gretlgretlcmd_hlp.txt and gretlgenrgui.hlp would also be missing when we click function or command reference from the Help menu.

OK, I think I see what went wrong. Could you try the current
snapshot?
