the latest release of that package, and I haven't received an answer
yet. Perhaps my email was classified as spam.

More updates attached again: The most important news is that I have
overridden the treatment of the $ sign as a keyword prefix: Because
first the style of the $-accessors (like $uhat etc.) could not be
differentiated from that of gretl commands, and secondly there was
no way to tell the package that a string substitution construct like
$i in a loop was not a keyword. So I put in the full explicit list
of $-accessors as a third keyword group, associated with a different
style.
