Regarding the word Expect , while acknowledging I just repeat your word from your message ( "Please refer your message : you can expect a --plot option to the"cusum" command in, let's say, a week or two") " as expect your command shortly. I did n't demand anything at present and my intention is to get code (in future preferably from your Gretl Guide).

My acknowledgement is misunderstood by a person who does n't know correct English.

Good advice. But the charitable interpretation of Dhanasekaran's
"Once again thanking you for your immediate response" is that he's
just thanking me for the "immediate response" that he already got
(acknowledging that a change is called for), not demanding a further
immediate response.
