the blog idea is interesting.

In my opinion the page should be added neither under "Resources" nor under "Use gretl" but a "What's new" (or something like that) section could be created, where "Blog" and cafè have their place. What do you think?

Hi, "what's new" sounds good. Whether the café belongs there, too, I leave that to you, because the intention of that section is not obvious to me. Perhaps in a café you also want to discuss old stuff? But again, I don't know.

Can/should I create "What's new" myself?
