pathology, not seen by most users of gretl on Windows. So can I
press you for a little more information?

What gretl version are you running? (Look under /Help/About gretl if
in doubt.) And what version of MS Windows? And can you tell us any
more about your Dell Inspiron, its Display in particular? One or
