Hi, When I tried to download the Google stock data from 2015-01-02 to 2016-01-29 (Total obs: 271), gretl is importing all 271 but due to 5 day week data and some national holidays, the end dates are mismatching. Gretl is noting the last date 2016-01-15. A sizeable portion of the hansl code for the "yahoo_get" package is devoted exactly to this problem. The following snippet exemplifies:

More generally speaking, the "join" command provides a very flexible way to import csv files with time series data. See Section 7.10 of the User's Guide.
