Thanks for the report, Artur. That example script was way out of date;
we should have noticed! It's now replaced in git. Here's a preview of
the corrected version:
# define two polynomials
a = { 1, 0.5, 0, 0 }'
b = { 1, 0.3, -0.8, 0 }'
print a b
# perform the transforms
f = fft(a ~ b)
print f
# multiply the two transforms
fc = f[,1] .* f[,2]
print fc
# compute the coefficients of c = a * b via the inverse transform
c = ffti(fc)
print c
