No, you're not missing anything. The idea to have a (partial and simplified) GUI access to the sign-restriction apparatus will most likely be realized with a separate contributed package, similar to SVEC_GUI. So it's not directly happening with a new gretl version. However, this new gretl version 2024c was really a pre-requisite for such an interface. Hopefully we'll have a working prototype until the end of the year.
