I use Gretl 2021b for Windows 64 Bit.I have a monthly time series of German unemployment. When select Variable->X12-ARIMA analysis, the "X12-ARIMA" opens. I take the default settings (Detect and correct for outliers, automatic transformation, generate graph, show full output, execute X12-ARIMA directly) and click "OK", nothing happens. If I additionally select all "save data" possibilities, nothing happens either. If I unselect "Detect and correct for outliers", everything works fine. I include the data file.
Hi, I cannot replicate the problem. I have freshly installed the X13 program for Windows (64bit) provided on the gretl web page. Then when I follow your steps with your data, I'm getting a warning or error window with some messages from x13 (I think), and after dismissing that window I'm getting what I think is the standard results.
Perhaps you could try to re-install the X13
program (and then make sure the path is the right one in gretl's
settings).
cheers
