The first thing, whenever you think there is something wrong with the application, you should send your dataset, output, Gretl version and commands executed, for proper verification.
GRETL is used by hundreds of thousands people in their day to day.
Given that, we may investigate whether it is a bug or not.

I installed Gretl 2016.d when I run a regression OLS and I generate forecast or save residuals every residual is lower cero or each residual is negative, it is not posible.
Whats up in Gretl? Perhaps any problem in program code.
