Thanks for your reply sir. What I am talking about is the usage of the Restr pattern (short-run C) (matrix) and the Restr pattern (further long-run C) matrix in the SVEC gui.

How to apply the restrictions is explained in the SVAR addon manual,
specifically the SVEC chapter 7. SVEC_GUI is just a frontend to SVAR,
nothing is changed with respect to the restrictions.

As explained in that chapter, the presence of cointegration already
gives you some "automatic" restrictions, but this is not specific to
SVEC_GUI.
