but I am not sure this was the reason).
Strange, but it was reproduced more
than once.
Next time I promise to wait several days
and reproduce several times.

Totally weird. All the series in that data file show correctly here 
(current gretl CVS, R 3.1.0):

current data loaded as data frame "gretldata"
