This is where it breaks down, as I thought I'd explained in the OP.

The "Analysis" tab lights up as I point the cursor over it, but clicking on it doesn't bring down the drop-down menu. What about that wasn't clear? The fact that I said 'activate' on first ask? Really, what difference does this make? It means the same bloody thing!!

If step 3 is not working for you, that's probably because the model window is not acquiring "focus" when you move the mouse pointer into it. That's a matter of Desktop policy (not gretl policy). Depending on Desktop options you might have to click on the model window to give it focus.

Or is this not what you're talking about?

Seriously, I really think you're just confusing matters unnecessarily by talking about 'focus'. I'm just talking about not being able to open up drop-down menus in results windows, as was also crystal clear in my OP. What are you talking about, exactly?

Going by the two latest replies in this thread, I reckon I'm not without friends in this regard.
