Dear Gretl Developers,<br><br>Today when we update Gretl for Mac OS all the server functions, example data, and databases are deleted. So every time I update the program need to re-download these files on the server. I don&#39;t have this problem on my Windows based PC. <br>

<br>I think this is because the default directory in Mac OS/X is inside the Gretl application (&quot;/Applications/<b>Gretl.app</b>/Contents/Resources/share/gretl/&quot;).<br><br>My first suggestion: What do you think about moving functions, example data, and databases to the <b>.gretl</b> directory?<br>

<br>My second problem (which generates my second suggestion): Here at my work the internet access requires secure proxy (with password), so I can&#39;t access server&#39;s contents (such as functions and databases).<br><br>
