Original code for Box-plots was made by Allin, but later changed to use gnuplot (I think).

OK well but 0 is no error, right? The boxplots function in
lib/src/boxplots.c just says it "Constructs a boxplot command file for
use with gnuplot." So in order to get it plotted further action would be
needed I guess, by invoking gnuplot on the produced command file.

Sorry, can't tell you directly how gretl proceeds with that internally
without trying to check myself.
