gretl 2019a is now available. It's mostly a bug-fix release,
but also brings SVM support to all platforms with no third-party dependencies.

Thanks a lot Allin, it's good to have those bugs fixed.

One follow-up report about the install: Contrary to my habits this time I explicitly uninstalled the previous snapshot (on Win7 here) before installing 2019a. However, the outdated documentation in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\gretl\doc remained there and was never updated (until I manually removed those pdf files). And apparently those are the files that gretl picks when asking for the user guide, for example, not the up-to-date ones in C:\Program Files\gretl\doc.

In principle the same is true for the \functions dir in that AppData path, but I'm not sure if that should be automatically removed when uninstalling.

cheers,
sven
