By the way, using

kpss 0 x

will lead to an automatic lag selection using  4(T/100)^(.25). Specifying a non-positive scalar for the lag order--0-- is the key....

Dear All,

Using Hansl language we have:

scalar lag_short = int(4*($nobs/100)^(1/4))
scalar lag_long = int(12*($nobs/100)^(1/4))
