Dear Allin:

What happens is that when I save any icon (plot, estimation of a regression model, graph, etc.), save the session and close the program Gretl, if I want to reopen it, I get an error  “1 session object(s) could not be rebuilt.”and the icons do not appears, and if I close the Gretl program and try again, the icons still do not appear.

However, if I open the .gretl file, it opens without icons, and once it is open, I try to open it again, and the icons do appear, as long as I don't close the program. The file's tool instruction history says “data error.” I don't understand why this is happening.

Could it be a similar or same problem as in this earlier bug report: https://sourceforge.net/p/gretl/bugs/311/ ?

That was never resolved because of missing follow-up inputs. Maybe we can hunt it with more success now.
