You may have found a bug, in here:

I'll check if can be reproducible.

About the number conversions, you should not need to do them (they are always stored with decimal dot), the decimal comma should only be used when displaying numbers.

Why doesn't your script work in German version (ignoring the comma vs dot replacing)?

Please tell us if you are using latest version or CVS snapshot.
