I believe that the Polish team has already done some preparatory work in
that direction and it would be a shame it that gets wasted, so in my
opinion the best thing would be to join forces.
If nobody minds, I'd like to put forward a proposal: Henrique, Sven and
someone else (nominated by Tadeusz, Marcin and Paweł) become the package
maintenance team,
There's one condition I have which I think is necessary for maintaining
the function packages: Like I've said before I think we need a tagging
functionality for the packages, such that we can classify/categorize
them and such that users can do meaningful searches in the list of
packages. Each package could have n > 0 tags. For the present packages
the maintenance team could add them, and in the future it would be
partly the responsibility of the authors to provide tags.
