In general, this is not true; but I'm not doubting your problem, so
please tell us more details about what you are doing exactly. Do you
have monthly, quarterly data or what? Which gretl version are you using?
And so on. If the data is public or you can reproduce your problem with
one of the example datasets, that would also be useful.
