Following up on my remark about scripts to start gretlcli and gnuplot from the Terminal,
here are some scripts.
I’ve made three scripts to start gretlcli, gnuplot and gretl (GUI) from a Terminal window
on OS X.
Please find them attached.
They should be put in a directory that is in PATH. In my case that is $HOME/bin.
I have a PATH extended with $HOME/bin.
I’ve tested the scripts and all appears to be well even the one starting the Gretl GUI
from a Terminal window.
They could be put in /usr/local/bin (not in /usr/bin because of next version of OS X: El
Capitan; /usr/bin is locked down in that version).
Something optional for the distributed package, maybe?
