Are other people seeing this? The last time I tested on Windows (I
believe, with the snapshot that's currently in place) I saw the
"recently opened files" in place OK.
Note that when you re-install gretl the list of files will probably
disappear, since the Windows registry entries get overwritten.
If recently opened data files are not appearing in the File menu, I
wonder if this could be a locale/encoding issue.
(John, your other points are noted, but I don't have time to address
them right now. I'm currently extending arma -> arima.)
