Oh, I forgot: to get onto the gretl menubar via keys: use Ctrl+F2
(which I gather is some sort of standard).
The default standard unless one has modified the shortcut (which I have done
naturally:-_))
This is a real improvement. Thanks.
Command+H only seems to work when the Gretl main window has focus. It should hide Gretl
and all its windows.
That's how it works in other applications.
The other shortcuts now work as desired except for the standard shortcut Command-`
(backquote) for moving focus to the next window. It does work with the X11 version of
Gretl. This is likely something that should be handled by the GTK mac integration.
See

Another typical OS X shortcut that doesn't work is Command+. (period) for Cancel. I
don't think that Gretl can do anything about that.
The GTK mac integration should be handling that.
I've seen that both Command+W and Ctrl-W close a window (except Ctrl-W doesn't
close an icon view. Weird).
My apologies for being so insistent about keyboard shortcuts but the abundance of these
together with the option of redefining almost any keyboard shortcut is what I really like
about OS X. If and when at any time first letter navigation of the menu's is operative
I will rejoice!
