Have you tested the current release? I thought that should be OK,
since trying to get real-time output to the GUI is a relatively recent
thing. Prior to that you'd have to wait till MPI was finished to see
any output in the GUI, but the output would reliably be complete.
I hadn't tested before, because I thought you had agreed that 2019c
would be affected.
But indeed I have tested now on a fresh 2019c install on Windows 10, and
both the parallel_specs example script and another snippet from this
thread appear to run fine. Good to know! So I can remove my check to
avoid running on 2019c.
