I checked in

gretl-common. I've found out that gretl.lang isn't anymore provided by
gretl-common 1.9.14 and gretl-common 1.9.9-1 but only by gretl-common
1.9.1-2. Also, the file gretl.lang, according to debian packages, put
gretl.lang in /usr/share/gretl/gtksourceview, a folder that doesn't
exist in the latest version of gretl (at least, I don't have it).
Anyway, by creating this folder I didn't have syntax highlighting yet. I
moved the file to /usr/share/gtksourceview-2.0/language-specs/ and
finally it worked. Anyway, this thing that gretl.lang is not provided by
the latest version of gretl-common for debian is quite strange in my
opinion.
Thanks for investigating this. We'll try to sort this out before the next
gretl release (which should be quite soon). There may have been a problem
at the Debian end of things, but I think it may have been partly our (or
more specifically, my) fault.
