Command+H only seems to work when the Gretl main window has focus.
It should hide Gretl and all its windows. That's how it works in
other applications.
There's now a new iteration of gretl-quartz in place.
Command+H should now work for all top-level gretl windows (not
dialogs) and the same should be true for Option+W (window list).
I will treat it as a bug if there's a top-level window that I've
missed.
The other shortcuts now work as desired except for the standard
shortcut Command-` (backquote) for moving focus to the next
window. It does work with the X11 version of Gretl. This is likely
something that should be handled by the GTK mac integration.

I guess Apple's X11 must be handling that.
Another typical OS X shortcut that doesn't work is Command+.
(period) for Cancel. I don't think that Gretl can do anything
about that. The GTK mac integration should be handling that.
I'm not seeing that in
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1343 .
