OK, here's a wild guess.
Apparently, there seems to be a problem with the "outfile" command. Could
you please check if there's a file named "outfile.XXXXXX" in your
tmeporary gretl dir?[*]
And if this is the case, does its timestamp coincide with the time when
you ran your dbnomics script? What does it contain?
[*] You can find what the path to your temporary gretl dir is by typing
"eval $dotdir" at the console prompt.
