This kind of information, IMO, is much too "volatile" (at least, at this level of detail) to be set in stone in the User's Guide; little things may change from one version to another. And besides, who needs the User's Guide to buld gretl on Linux when there's an excellent step-by-step tutorial on YouTube already? ;)
