Thanks for the follow-up. I was going to suggest that the problem
seemed to be a missing link to libf2c or libg2c. I'll try to
investigate what's going on with configure.
Since I did not find gretl's debian package maintainer complaints about
compiling (and gretl 1.5.0 is in debian unstable), I suspect that this
maybe the issue with Ubuntu Breezy. So this problem will probably
disappear, with new Ubuntu release, which will be in April.
