You're right, we should enable batch-mode graphs in loops. The
ban on graphs in loops was intended to avoid a situation where a
loop script throws up hundreds or thousands of on-screen graphs
and brings the user's machine to its knees. That is, it was a
quick hack to avoid a worst-case scenario.
