That message is not from gretl; I'm not sure where it's from.
What OS X version are you running?
My Gretl version is 1.8.2 (build date 2009-07-07) for MacOS.
I tried current CVS gretl on OS X 10.4.11 (the only test platform
I have) and tramo works fine. Note, however, that the OS X tramo
package from gretl is built for the PPC architecture so it
requires rosetta to run on ix86.
