It looks as if you still have in your system an old version of the
"extra"
package. Since extra is an add-on supplied with gretl, updating gretl
should normally take care of updating the extra package for you (as well
as other addons, like geoplot or dbnomics). Obviously, in this case
something went wrong.
Helgi, can you tell us what platform this is on? That would help us
try to ensure this sort of problem doesn't arise in future. As Jack
says, it appears that gretl is loading a previous version of extra
rather than the one installed by gretl 2022b.
