From the sound of it, this is not gretl-related, strictly speaking: it
looks more like something you have to fix with the security options of
your Mac and related permissions.
Although there are several Mac users on this list, I guess you'd be much
better off asking for help somewhere more specific, like Mac forums and/or
the IT staff at your department.
That said, please post the solution to your problem when you find it: the
purpose of this mailing list is also to provide a repository of
"how-do-I-do-this?" questions and answers. Thanks in advance!
