Are you running a current gretl snapshot? (Under "/Help/About gretl" the
version should be 1.10.0cvs.) The latest SVAR requires gretl 1.10.0.
In practice:
- download the installer for osx from
http://sourceforge.net/projects/gretl/files/snapshots/
- remove the old version
- install the new version
- then go to "Help > Check for addons"; you should see that the suggested
version for SVAR is 0.9995. Go for that.
- having done this, navigate to your $HOME/gretl/functions/SVAR/examples
folder: the example file for historical decomposition ("BlQuah_hd") should
be there
- happy SVARing :)
