Right, but what is the rationale for having those datafiles only on the
server and not shipping them with gretl like the other example datasets?
There's a large number of textbook datafiles available and many of
them are likely to be of little interest if you're not using the
textbook in question, plus it's not exactly onerous to download an
extra collection that you want.
That said, we could include in the package the files pertaining to a
few of the more widely used texts -- maybe Wooldridge and
Stock/Watson? What do others think?
