When I click on help -》 check for updates, I get no answers. Nothing

Another feature which would be nice to have, although not vital, is the
zero line appearing in the Svar IRFs (following the command IRFplot.
Actually the zero line is there but it is hidden by the confidence
intervals!!

If you use windows or osx, you can use the latest "snapshot" version: see
http://sourceforge.net/projects/gretl/files/snapshots/
If you use linux, you should compile gretl by yourself from the latest
source.
