Thanks for trying again. Is there in fact a directory of the name
given above on your machine? That is,
C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\gretl
The "C:\Users\User" looks a bit odd. But if there is such a
directory, does it contain a file named R.out? That's supposed to be
where gretl gets R to write its output. Ah... and if doesn't contain
such a file, does it contain a file with suffix .Rout, and content
that looks like what you might be missing? If that's the case, then
perhaps gretl is looking for the wrong file; I'm not sure why that
would be, but it's fixable if so.
