I'm almost done with updating de.po, just one or two questions:
The strings "Within" and "Between" seem to belong to panel models I
guess; but what exactly do they describe where they appear?
These are abbreviations for the fixed effects and between-groups
estimators, for use in the GUI model table. (Comparable to other
abbreviations such as "OLS", "MLE" and so on.)
And for "within s.d." and "between s.d.", does it
refer to the
residual variance, or some observable variable, or what else?
Some observable variable: when you call for descriptive statistics
on a variable in a panel dataset you get the "global" standard
deviation as usual, but you also get the "within" and "between"
standard deviations.
