Dear all I tried many testing of the above script and results are as follows. Note that case (a) takes about 27 seconds. I have three win XP computers. Before I keep the following experimental records, I found the same issue as described earlier. This is the last one I encounter the delayed gnuplot problem. A strange thing is that I am not able to replicate the delayed plot issue even I re-install gretl 1.8.6 and upgrade it to 1.9.1cvs, or after rebooting winxp and do the upgrading again.
