It is possible to open another instance using Terminal by executing:
/Applications/Gretl.app/Contents/Resources/bin/gretl
Unfortunatelly, I get a problem with fonts when opening via Terminal
(also at 1st instance). I receive such error:
(process:42262): Gtk-WARNING **: Locale not supported by C library.
Using the fallback 'C' locale.
(gretl:42262): Pango-CRITICAL **: No modules found:
No builtin or dynamically loaded modules were found.
PangoFc will not work correctly.
This probably means there was an error in the creation of:
'/opt/mac/quartz/etc/pango/pango.modules'
You should create this file by running:
pango-querymodules > '/opt/mac/quartz/etc/pango/pango.modules'
(gretl:42262): Pango-WARNING **: failed to choose a font, expect ugly
output. engine-type='PangoRenderCoreText', script='latin'
(gretl:42262): Pango-WARNING **: failed to choose a font, expect ugly
output. engine-type='PangoRenderCoreText', script='common'
I am working at MacOS Sierra 10.12.6 and using gretl 2019c.

Pawel
