transform it in order to be nicely human-readable?
That's the claim, but there's a problem with line lengths. A single
newline in markdown text translates to a "hard" HTML linebreak, <br>.
So authors who want the body of a paragraph to reflow on demand do not
insert such breaks. So, in turn, we get super-long lines in raw
markdown.
